The Trading Standards Institute was founded in the UK in 1881. It represents Trading Standards professionals in the Britain, and overseas - in both local authorities, commerce and consumer sectors and also in central government.

What they do: " TSI exists to promote and protect the success of a modern UK economy. It aims to safeguard the health, safety and wellbeing of citizen consumers. TSI achieve this by supporting their members to empower the ordinary consumers, encourage honest business and target rogue traders."
